About this work
Skullptured Destiny is a work of many layers, each framed and filled with symbolism. Layer over layer shaped the destiny of this model, much like we shape our own destiny. If you’re anything like me, being reminded of our own mortality is the fire I need to devote myself to my goals, and to keep working towards them.
The materials in this work reflect this urge for progress. The beetle’s shields and the skull remind us of the limited time one has in life.
